The Numbi Gate is located 428km from Johannesburg in the south west of the Kruger National Park, and offers the easiest access point from nearby Nelspruit. This gate offers one of the best entrances into the park because its higher altitude provides a sweeping view over the lowveld to the east and the granite foothills to the north and south.

It's a good gate to enter the park by if you're heading towards Skukuza Rest Camp (which a lot of people are, as it's the biggest camp in the park!). The nearest accommodation to the gate however, is Pretoriuskop Rest Camp. This camp is only a distance of 9km (6 miles) away.
